The Foundation for International Health and Rehabilitation (FIMHR) will be holding it’s Summer Fundraising Event on two nights this year. The first event will be on July 16th in Lake Barrington. On August 20th, the second event will be held in Chicago. Both events will be from 6:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
Your support will continue to help us raise awareness about mental health for programs we will be initiating in 2016. These educational programs include a lecture series about mental health issues that cover the age spectrum. We will bring these programs to churches, schools, civic and retirement communities in an effort to have a better understanding of mental health.
FIMHR was established in 2007 and our mission is to raise awareness of the social significance of mental health. Our vision is to spread awareness of this major issue by breaking down the myth and stigma of mental illness around the world and in the United States. In collaboration with Alexian Brothers, FIMHR has implemented educational programs to identify mental health issues, crisis intervention, integrated behavioral health programs in the community and partnered with community- based organizations.
We hope we can count on your support and are looking forward to seeing you at our event.
